Our Doctors & Staff


Dr. Christopher Frier
Dr. Frier received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University. He opened Camino Animal Clinic in 1978. His special interests include cardiology, surgery, laser surgery, and endoscopy. Dr. Frier teaches advanced laser surgery at the annual Western States Veterinary conference. He is a strong believer in continuing education and provides multiple educational opportunities for all staff members through monthly staff training sessions and veterinary conference attendance. He is married and has three daughters. His hobbies are snowboarding, mountain biking, wake boarding, and carpentry.

Dr. Stacy Hall
Dr. Stacy Hall was born and raised in Southern California. She went to UC Davis for her Bachelors degree in Animal Science and Equine emphasis minor, graduating in 2005. After graduating, she became the head parasitologist for foodborne and waterborne diseases for the Western Institute for Food Safety at UC Davis. She then attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and followed her love of clinical medicine toward a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012 with a small animal medicine emphasis. Dr. Hall has a deep love for German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. Her special interests include ultrasound, radiology, and soft tissue surgery. After hanging up the stethoscope, Dr. Hall enjoys her time with her family. Her hobbies include hiking, backpacking, and tennis.

Dr. Ravi Srungaram
Dr. Ravi Srungaram is a Southern California native who grew up in Long Beach. Dr. Srungaram grew up working at his father’s veterinary practice which built his love for the profession. He majored in Biology at Loyola Marymount University before going to UC Davis for his DVM in 2015. When not working, he enjoys playing basketball, running, and spending time with friends and family. His favorite dog breed is the Malamute 🙂

Anat – Office Manager / Head Tech
Anat came to the US from Israel in 1998. She has been working Camino Animal Clinic since 2002. She is currently taking classes at Pierce College to earn a Registered Veterinary Technician degree. Anat lives with her boyfriend, daughter, son, three cats and two dogs..

Tyler
Tyler has been working in the veterinary field for over 7 years and has been with Camino since 2013. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors degree in Biology, then went on to get an associates degree from the exotic animal training program at Moorpark College. He is currently going to school at Pierce to earn his RVT license. He has a special interest in the marine mammal veterinary field. Tyler dotes over his black fluffy dog named “ITSO fluffy!”

Tamie
Tamie has been at Camino Animal Clinic since 2005. She works in our front office. She grew up in Thousand Oaks and has come back after living 4 1/2 years on the island of Maui and 1 1/2 years in Huntington Beach. Tamie and her husband have 2 daughters.

Christian
Christian joined us in late 2015 and is new to the veterinary field. He enjoys performing therapeutic laser treatments and assisting in anesthetic procedures. He has also become a very good handiman for the clinic, especially during construction. He has 3 dogs, Bella, Shali, and Finn

Cheryl – RVT
Cheryl joined our team in 2014. She is a licenced RVT, earning her degree in 2012. She loves performing laser treatments and dental procedures. She has been married for over 30 years and her house is run by 2 Shiba Inu dogs (Norman and Stella). In her spare time, she enjoys long walks and wine tasting with her husband.

Kerrie – RVT

Shannon
Shannon joined our team in 2015 and has worked as a kennel assistant while finishing high school. She is graduating this year and will become a full time veterinary technician with dreams of becoming a veterinarian or a licensed RVT. She has a beautiful cat named O’Malley and a senior golden retreiver named Sandy.

Claire
Claire joined our team in late 2015 as a receptionist. She is from Great Britain, but has lived here in the U.S. for 21 years working in the veterinary field for 12 years. She has 2 horses.

Kelsey
Kelsey joined our practice in 2015 grew up with a love for all animals. That love only grew when she discovered the world of horses. She knew at a young age that she wanted to work in a veterinary clinic. When the oppotunity presented itself, she jumped at the change. Eventually, she aspires to becoming an RVT. She has two AMAZING dogs, Pep and Diego, and a gorgeous horse Willow. She loves them all dearly.
